7/5/09 – 7/12/09
Hello Bay Area,
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. DLC and SLC starts today. Because of the Camps, Bay Area Division is not having any visitations this week. Hope everyone that is not at DLC or SLC has a great week.
What is one of the most fun things that happen during summer? Conclave! Come on Bay Area, and sign up to come to the best party of the summer. The deadline for early registration is July 10th. Get your registration forms sent in before Friday! It has always been a great time in the past, and will be even better this year because we are doing it jointly with RED. There will be some friendly, fun competitions between the two divisions. Let’s all go and have a great time, and show RED who the better division is - just kidding RED.
Bay Area is still planning a Garage Sale in August and an Ewaste event.. The dates of each event will be announced soon. All of the proceeds will go to our philanthropic projects. For more info on the Garage Sale, contact Roxanne Colton our Sweetheart, and on Ewaste, contact Kurtis Stark, our Senior Councilor.
A Look Into The Future:
7/17/09 BAD Visitation to San Francisco Chapter. Meeting begins at 7:30 pm.
7/18/09 Santa Cruz Chapter’s Installation of Officers. Installation begins at 3 pm.
7/25-26 Bay Area Division’s Relay 4 Life. It will be taking place at Pleasanton Middle School from 9am till 9am. You can sign-up now on line at: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=team&fr_id=13833&team_id=462390 and If you have any questions, please contact our Sweetheart, Roxanne Colton.
8/7-9 BAD & RED Conclave. Conclave will be at Sonoma State University. The cost of registration is $90 dollars a person before July 10th or $100 after July 10th but before July 25th. Walk In Registration costs $172. Any member who is intiated at Conclave, there will be a $15 deduction from their cost. The cost covers meals, the room and the exciting events that the two divisions are putting on. If you have any questions, just ask any of the BAD or RED officers. There is a registration form attached to this update.
8/22 – Bay Area Division’s End of Summer Splash Down at Raging Waters in San Jose. This event will be from 10:30am until 6pm. The cost is $37.50 a person and that includes admission, the use of a private picnic area for the entire day, lunch from 1pm until 2pm, and unlimited drinks from 1pm until 3pm. Half of the proceeds will go to the philanthropic project. Prospects will receive a $5 discount if their ticket is purchased before August 5th. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The $37.50 price goes until August 5th. After that the price will go up to $43. For any information, feel free to contact me.
